During the period under review, exports reached an all-time high of X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, exports have been at lower levels.

In terms of value, crane exports dropped significantly to $X in 2020. Overall, exports continued to show modest growth. The most significant growth rate was recorded in 2017, with a year-on-year increase of X%. During the period under review, exports hit an all-time high of $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, exports were slightly lower.

Saudi Arabia (X units) is the main destination for Qatari crane exports, accounting for X% of total exports. In addition, the number of cranes exported to Saudi Arabia exceeded four times the number exported to Kuwait (X units), the second main destination. In third place is Oman (X units) with an X% share.

From 2007 to 2012, the average annual growth rate of cargo traffic to Saudi Arabia was relatively modest. Exports to other major destinations recorded the following average annual export growth rates: Kuwait (X% per annum) and Oman (X% per annum). It is followed by Oman with an X% share.

China (X units), Turkey (X units) and Italy (X units) are the main suppliers of cranes imported to Qatar, which together account for X% of total imports. Germany, India, US, UK, Malaysia and South Korea are slightly behind and together constitute a further X from 2007 to 2019. Among the major suppliers, the most significant growth rate in purchasing is achieved by Malaysia, while imports are due to other Leaders experienced a decline.
