My marching slots went from 4 to 1. Don’t know how to fix.

My marching slots are not working.
I’m a level 19 monarch and a 5 VIP. My keep is a level 22. I have about 90k troops and my Rally spot is level 18. For the longest time I have had 4 marching slots. I started attacking level 9-17 cities and I did lose once. All of a sudden my 4 marching slots is down to one slot. I have 5 level 17-18 generals plus many other generals as mayors of subs and wall defense. I also have 3 sub cities. When I try to attack more than one monster I get a window that says “no subordinate cities available”. I don’t know what I did wrong but all my secondary marching paths are gone. Please help.
