The pool

I've gained several items that says I'm supposed to put it in the "pool" to receive a secret city hint. Where is this confounded pool?

There are several events happening all the time. This is one of the events. When you click on the events tab a menu will pop up. Go through each one! You might have rewards waiting for you!!

Could you be more specific? I've been through the events tab and I haven't found anything that indicates anything about a pool or otherwise.
